Computer Techs have a very strange sense of humor. It's almost like the odd sense of humor those guys on The Big Bang Theory have. Now, no one understands what we are saying and what doesn't make sense won't seem funny. The Big Bang boys, however, are funny.
For example, the time of one of our customers attempted to install a 54Kbps PCI modem in an ISA slot and said she couldn't get a dial tone. That was funny.
Today, if we see someone using a 56Kbps dial-up in their modern Vista computer, even if it is installed correctly: That's funny. (kind of sad too).
Those Mac commercials are very funny and I have saved all of them. Those commercials, and Vista, made me switch to Mac. I am glad I did, even though I am a certified PC technician. To be fair, Windows 7 is about to arrive and it is a much better OS (Operating System) than Vista. We have been testing and using it at work for several months now, and it is not nearly as annoying as Vista.
